Aurélie Hourlier-Fargette (ICS MIM team) was awarded the Guy Ourisson 2024 prize on May 13, 2025, at a ceremony organized by the Cercle Gutenberg and the Université de Strasbourg, in the presence of Cercle Gutenberg members, of representatives of the funding organizations and sponsors, of the President and part of the University's presidency team, and of the Orchestre de Chambre de l'Université de Strasbourg.

The Cercle Gutenberg's Guy Ourisson prizes are awarded each year to researchers conducting particularly promising research in Alsace who are under forty years of age on January 1 of the year in which the prize is awarded (the age limit is extended by one year per child for female candidates).

The Cercle Gutenberg was created by Professor Guy Ourisson to strengthen links between Alsatian members of the Institut de France, Collège de France, major French and foreign academies and the Institut Universitaire de France, and to stimulate scientific research in Alsace.

This prize is awarded to individual scientists, but the collective aspect of research was recalled at the ceremony by many laureates, including Aurélie. Many thanks to all ICS members (cec, ITA, PhD students, post-docs, trainees) who have contributed to this research in many different ways, scientifically of course, but not only!
